After months of no activity from me, I am closing this community. No current members will be removed, but no new members will be allowed. Feel free to keep taking from what's here, but there will be no new posts. I just don't have the time any more.

Thank you to everyone who was supportive and fun while I did this. I had a great time!

Alright. I've done some research and figured out a few things, some I'm still hazy on. Most likely the reason I started paying for my LJ account was to get more icon slots for my personal journal. I still can't figure out if I need a paid account in order to have a community or not, LJ's explanations are too clever for me. I rarely post to my personal LJ, either, so any loss of icons or perks won't matter. The only thing I know for sure is I'll lose my custom mood theme.

I will keep the icon community, but I will 'close' it. When my paid time runs out I will not renew. If the community disappears, so sad. If it stays, it stays.

No one needs to take over payment of my account. This isn't just about money. If I'm not keeping up on new icons, it's wasted space and I feel guilty for not updating. My personal journal is bare and I don't see that changing any time soon, so going down to a bare bones/free account makes sense.

If I do make icons in the future, I will post them to my personal journal. I do like making them, just don't have time.

Hopefully that will make everyone happy. :)

I will be deleting this community in the near future. It's been a great run and I've loved all the positive comments and feedback, but I just don't keep up with it anymore and it costs to keep it.

If you need/want to go back through old posts to grab any icons you always meant to grab, now is the time.

Off topic, I know, but you never know who needs a job and where they may lurk.

The company I work for has two job openings in St. Louis, MO and there is an employee referral bonus, so I'm posting this info everywhere I can.

The openings are for a Physician and a Nurse Practitioner. The bonus would pay me half after 90 days of employment and the second half after 6 months of employement, so this is serious job seeking. :)
